at your local library?

It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Sign Up!

Signing up for Summer Reading is as simple as coming to the front desk, giving us your name and age, and picking up a reading log! Everyone gets a free book when they sign up! We'll keep track of your minutes read and the prizes you've redeemed.

You just need to...

 

2. Record your minutes on your reading log!

For every 15 minutes that you read or listen to a book (for our youngest participants, that means 15 minutes of being read to!), mark off one of the squares on your reading log. When your log is full, bring it back to the library! Each reading log tracks 300 minutes of reading - or 5 hours!

3. Turn your reading logs in for cool prizes!

Each reading log you redeem at WCL earns you one entry into our monthly prize drawings!

As you fill out your reading log, you’ll also earn other cool prizes like stickers, bookmarks, toys, books, and more!

 

There's also tons of special programming available at the library during Summer Reading, including performers, crafting classes, movie nights and so much more!
