About the Event
As part of her lifelong interests in art and writing, Jo Pomeroy-Crockett has been painting in watercolor, water media, and pastel for many years, and has written numerous educational materials, magazine articles, and children’s books. Her work as a free-lance writer, artist, and educator allows her to continue developing her creativity and her technical skills. Although Pomeroy-Crockett has written a variety of materials, the latest includes the Why Series: “Why Did I Lose My Teeth?”, “Why Do I Need to Sleep?”, “Why Do I Need to Wash?”, “Why Do I Need to Exercise?”, “Why Do I Need to Eat Fruits and Veggies?”, and “Why Did My Bone Break?”. Published by Educational Activities, Inc., the series is available in both English
and Spanish. Hear her talk about her book, her art and her processes.
