Summer Reading 2023
Find Your Voice at the Warrenton Library!
Curious about how Summer Reading works
at your local library?
It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Sign Up!
Signing up for Summer Reading is as simple as coming to the front desk, giving us your name, and picking up a reading log! We'll keep track of your minutes read and the prizes you've redeemed, so you just have to worry about...

2. Record your minutes on your reading log!
For every 15 minutes that you read or listen to a book (for our youngest participants, that means 15 minutes of being read to!), mark off one of the dots on your reading log. When your log is full, bring it back to the library! Each reading log tracks 480 minutes of reading - or 8 hours!

3. Turn your reading logs in for cool prizes!
Each reading log you redeem at WCL earns you one entry into our end of summer grand prize drawing, and a coupon good for a free item from our used book sale!
Summer readers under 18 also earn one free, brand new book from our book prize cart EVERY month!

There's also tons of special programming available at the library during Summer Reading, including musicians, magic shows, puppet theater, crafting classes, movie nights and so much more!
